The Restful Waters Restoration Center
A unique place for spiritual restoration and reflection!
Have you ever wanted to go away on a retreat and hear the Holy Spirit speaking to you and experience Jesus ministering to you?
If you read my Good News Reflections, have you ever wished you could visit me and have some personal, one-on-one spiritual direction?
We've been offering virtual retreats and spiritual restoration since 1998. We have two virtual gathering places, a "garden" on the "Journey to Emmaus" and a meeting room for "Parents Who Pray", both of which are popular as virtual communities for mutual support and spiritual growth.
It's not enough. God designed us for actual community. What's missing is the face-to-face, personal component of his healing love and spiritual renewal.
The Restful Waters Restoration Center will be an actual place where we meet face to face, a resting place on the journey of faith, a healing place for the weary.
It's a place where you will be strengthened for the battles you endure in your ministry or your family or workplace.
It's a place to rest from the Way of the Cross that you walk with Jesus.
The Restful Waters Restoration Center
"He leads me to restful waters to restore my strength."The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack.
He nourishes me in green pastures.
He leads me to restful waters to restore my strength.
He guides me along the right path.
Even when I walk through a dark valley,
I fear no evil for the Lord is my side.
His rod and staff give me courage.
He sets a table before me as my enemies watch.
He anoints my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Only goodness and love will be follow me the days of my life.
I will dwell in the house of my Lord for years to come. (Psalm 23)For that personal touch of Christ, sometimes we need to replace the computer screen with real faces.
If we receive enough help, Good News Ministries can build a vacation place for the poor in spirit who are in need of God's abundant restoration, for the poor emotionally who need the healing embrace of Jesus, and the poor in energy who are weary from difficulties and need rest and restoration in the Holy Spirit.
Perhaps you yourself have experienced this kind of need.
Will you help?
My husband Ralph and I have put a lot of our own resources into Good News Ministries, and we will continue to do so, but this is not even close to what's needed.
Please pray for us, and if you'd like to help in this cause, contact us. All donations normally go into a general account for the non-profit purposes of Good News Ministries.
If you cannot contribute financially, please join the Prayer Team. Ask Jesus to multiply the donations we get and to be our Guide in how we use them to help others. May God be your Guide as you consider helping us financially. Please do not assume that he is asking this help from enough others.
Your Servant in Christ,
Terry Modica
