A gentleman once revealed to me that his Catholic daughter had married a Jewish man. He gave this picture to them as a gift, and it touched his son-in-law so much that, soon after, he converted to Catholicism. A woman shared with me that her daughter had converted from Catholicism to Judaism and thought her parents were angry. When she gave this picture to her daughter, it healed their relationship. Others have told me this picture shows what Pope John Paul II was trying to achieve with our Jewish brothers and sisters. If we truly believe in one God and that He is our Father, then we will treat everyone as brothers and sisters.

"For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility." (Ephesians 2:14)
