Can you share $5?
How are we doing?
The plea for personal involvement by those who enjoy the services we provide began on December 9, 2008. We specifically asked those who did not support this ministry in 2008 (more than 12,000 people) to pitch in. I thought it wasn't too much to hope for merely 5% participation: 600 donors. As of March 16, 5:00pm ET, a total of 433 have responded -- but only 62 with a monthly pledge.
I am not going to update this tally any more; the new donations are coming too slowly and I need to spend my time doing other work. I praise God for and pray God's blessings on each and every donor!
Please thank Jesus for all he has done for you through Good News Ministries by giving back to Him just $5 a month.
With just $5 (USD) you can help us minister to others with the Good News of Jesus Christ's love!
Your five dollars — if enough other people join their five dollars to yours, especially if you get involved in the monthly plan — will give Jesus to countless others by supporting the works of Good News Ministries throughout the new year. Your generosity will also be a gift to Jesus Himself, because what you do to others you do unto to Him (cf. Matt. 25).
You have been called by God — in our baptisms we all have been called — to continue the mission of Christ in the modern world. A monthly donation to Good News Ministries is an easy way to do it. Our outreach to the entire world is accomplished through donors.
Would you like to see examples of the difference your gift can make in the lives of those who come to us to experience Jesus? Please read these brief stories and be blessed by them. And see how Good News supporters helped me minister to folks in Texas!
10% of all donations we receive are tithed
by Good News Ministries to priests and ministries
who work with the poorest of the poor.If you can afford to help this ministry with more than $5/month, please do so on behalf of those who cannot or will not, as a Christ-like gift of mercy.
Every morning, I pray for all who help Good News Ministries in any way. May I ask God to bless you, too?
Your Servant in Christ,
Terry Modica
