The upper part of the window in this bay focuses on Mary as "Our Lady of Mount Carmel" (Feast Day July 16). The saints depicted in this section are connected to the Carmelite Religious Order, which instituted this celebration in the 1300s. Precious Blood Window The lower half of the window is dedicated to the Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ (which used to be celebrated on July 1st but is now part of the celebration of the Body and Blood of Christ - "Corpus Christi" - on the second Sunday after Pentecost). The saints in this part of the window had a special devotion to the Precious Blood of Christ.
