Apostles Simon & Jude

The Apostles Simon and Jude share a Feast Day (October 28). Saint Simon the Zealot is shown with a saw, because he was martyred for the work he did for God's kingdom by being sawed in half.

Saint Jude is holding a ship, an ancient Christian symbol of the Church tossed on the sea of disbelief, worldliness, and persecution but finally reaching safe harbor with its cargo of human souls. Saints Simon and Jude dedicated their lives to carrying souls to Christ.
