"I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

In Holy Communion, we unite ourselves to Heaven. Why would anyone want to stay away from Jesus in the Eucharist after they realize what it really means?

When you receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist, pause for a moment to thank Jesus for what he did for you during his Passion and Crucifixion. Reflect on the fact that you hold Jesus — not a piece of bread — in your hand and in your mouth! It is his way of continuing to pour out his love!

With such powerful love available in the Eucharist, how can you stay away from Mass? Jesus is saying, "Come, my special friend, come! There is so much more love that I want to give you. Come to Me!"
