Jeremiah and John the Baptist

The prophets Jeremiah and John the Baptist were born in a state of holiness and were very pious all their lives, similar to Mary.

Jeremiah prophesied the coming of Mary (Jeremiah 31:22) in saying, "The Lord has created a new thing upon the earth: the woman must encompass the man with devotion." In other words, the mother of the Messiah is different from all other mothers in that her child, even while in the womb, would possess all those properties which constitute real manhood, and Jesus was the Perfect Man, because he is also God.

John the Baptist, while still in his mother's womb, lept for joy when the pregnant Mary came to visit his mother Elizabeth. His spirit recognized the nearness of the presence of Christ.
