Saint Peter

He is shown holding the keys to the Kingdom of God, entrusted to him by Jesus, symbolizing his role as the first Pope, and in his left hand a scroll recalling his two Epistles in the New Testament.

He is the patron saint of foot problems, shoemakers, bakers, bridge builders, ship builders, butchers, fishermen, masons, and popes.

His feast day is June 29 (Feast of Peter and Paul).
