The panels in the central part of the narthex are an invitation to Mass. They reflect the history of the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Let's look at these now.
Jesus multiplies the loaves and fish, and at Mass, He is the True Bread, Taking the five loaves and two fish, looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke the bread. Then he gave it to his disciples to distribute to the people. (Mark 6:41)
