Also on display in the sacristy is this gold vestment. The original sets of vestments for the Cathedral were created by the international firm of René Lorrain and Cie, Inc. They were sewn in Bruges, Belgium, which was known for centuries for its intricate lace work. Each of the vestments has emblems of the Madonna and other intricate symbols from scripture and the liturgy in its design.
