Jesus comforts the weeping women

Jesus comforts the weeping women of Jerusalem

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You.
Because by Your Holy Cross You
have redeemed the world.

My Lord Jesus Christ:

You are not too busy or too far away to give me comfort. When I am in the midst of my difficulties, it seems like I’m all alone. It feels like You’ve abandoned me. But in truth, You are always with me. Help me to remember to turn to You whenever I am suffering, whenever I am upset, whenever I need a shoulder to cry on. You are the only true source of joy and peace; teach me to seek these only from You, and then I will experience joy in the midst of sorrow and peace in the midst of turmoil.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Start the music and sing:

O, sweet Mother, fount of love,
touch my spirit from above,
make my heart with yours accord.
