The Chapel is dedicated to Saint Thomas More, the 16th century chancellor of England (Feast Day June 22) who was hanged by King Henry VIII when he refused to deny the primacy of the Pope and proclaim Henry head of the Church. Thomas More was chosen as the saint for this chapel because, like Thomas O'Neill, he was a married layman who served God with his daily life.  Click the photo to move in closer.
