The panels in the central part of the narthex are an invitation to Mass. They reflect the history of the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Let's look at these now.

Moses

God appearing to Moses in the burning bush, which foreshadowed Christ becoming present to us in every Mass.

The angel of the LORD appeared to Moses in flames of fire from within a bush ... God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" Moses answered, "Here I am." (Exodus 3:2-4)
