Mary, the Blessed Mother of Jesus who is our High Priest, also serves as the Supreme Mother of all priests. She is a Patron Saint of priests, interceding for them and caring for them. Thus, in our cathedral, she stands watch outside the doors to the Sacristy.

Whom do you know who would make a good priest? Pray for him with Mary. Speak to him about it with her help. She invites all who have been chosen by God for this most important mission of service. Just as she brought Jesus into the world, our priests bring Jesus to the world through the Eucharist, which is Christ's earthly presence today.
