A Challenge to Practice Radical Mercy in Your Life
Lent begins in less than two weeks. How are you preparing your heart to embrace this penitential season of prayer, fasting and almsgiving? I suggest that you prayerfully consider joining The Great Mercy Challenge at Good News Ministries.
Why? We are living in the most challenging of times. We are becoming increasingly polarized and divided. The violence and civil unrest seem exponentially expanding throughout the world and the enemies of the Church are increasingly emboldened in their attempts to discourage and dissuade disciples from following the Gospel.
So what are we to do? What if we as Catholics begged God to have mercy upon those with whom we disagree and frustrate us, the enemies of the Church and those perpetuating fear and violence in the world for the 40 days of Lent. What if we put radical mercy into practice in our lives? I believe God will use our prayer to save souls and bring about a reign of peace in our culture.
So how do you join “The Great Mercy Challenge”? Visit this webpage to learn all the details. Be sure to share this with your family and friends as well. We have a great opportunity to participate in God’s plan of salvation, join us this Lenten season and be an agent of Mercy in your home, community and world.
May God continue to bless you and your family.
