The architecture of the Cathedral is a contemporary design with Gothic influences that can be seen especially in the generous window areas, the pronounced slimness of its form, its softly pointed arches, and bay buttresses. The Cathedral is noted for its unusual interior buttresses, which serve as one of the main supports of the great nave.

The lines in the Cathedral immediately draw one's eyes to the focal point, which is the high altar.
This points to the centrality of our faith - the bread and wine consecrated into the actual Body and Blood of Christ.
