What if ___?
What if Good News Ministries had to shut down?
We are aiming for a future for Good News Ministries that is not dependent on me being healthy and alive in this world. That’s why I’m bequeathing all of my money, my life insurance policy, and the value of my house to this ministry. But until I pass away, the future is dependent on donors.
It could be 20+ years before my inheritance can fund GNM. My mother is nearly 94 years old; longevity is in my genes. Of course, as I approach my 70th birthday in February, I should scale back and turn over my admin duties to someone else; if you’ve been reading past issues of this newsletter, you know that God has provided us with Bill Snyder for this purpose. The thing is, we’re still far from reaching the goal of $55,000 to cover the first half of 2025. As of this moment, we cannot prepare for succession planning — let alone continue like past years.
What shall we do? We depend on God, and God depends on the “yes” of faith-filled believers who agree to be generous. Is that you? Please go to gnm.org/donate.
I’d like to emphatically thank everyone who has championed the mission of Good News Ministries in 2024. Thank you for helping me get through a very difficult year and for your ongoing support.
Need renewed hope? Chat with me!
I had a very blessed time over the holidays chatting with GNM’s small, private support group on Telegram.
Afterward, the members of this group decided to reach out with our caring, mutual support. We are repurposing this holiday chat room to be open to anyone who needs an increase of hope, any time of year.
You are invited! Meet up with other faith-filled Catholics who know what it’s like to lose a loved one to the world. We understand your heartache. We’ll pray for you and encourage you.
GNM is offering you a safe, cozy place to visit. This is a well protected, private group. Join the conversation and discover that you are cared about. If you don’t yet have Telegram, no worries. It is simple to set up and start sharing your heart.
