Meet Bill our new Media Director!
Meet Bill Snyder, the new Media Director and Administrative Assistant for Good News Ministries. He has moved off the Board of Directors so that he can become a member of the staff.
Strategically, Bill is part of succession planning. If anything happens to me, or when I retire from administrative work, Bill will be ready to keep Good News Ministries going.
In this video, he shares how and why he joined up with Good News Ministries and how important the support from donors is for the continuance of our mission. See youtu.be/oNbANw8_lfg?si=bczAGLsWVJ7Fy8Hn.
What’s needed most right now is more people who make monthly commitments.
Therefore, I’ve put together an Advent Ebook of Reflections as a thank-you for monthly supporters. Until the end of November, all monthly donors can get a free copy.
Monthly support makes a huge difference in the mission of Good News Ministries. That’s why we’re doing this. Monthly support is a stress reducer. If enough people say, “Yes, I’ll help by committing to a little amount each month,” they will lower the size of the goal of our December fundraiser.
Monthly commitments empower the GNM team to make definite plans in the continuance and development of our mission. It’s so important that, for the rest of this month, if you initiate or renew monthly support, you’ll get the opportunity to download a printable PDF ebook of Advent reflections (one page for each Sunday of Advent). Plus I’ve added a BONUS: “The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Celebrating the Grace of God.” (See preview.)
Hurry before the offer expires! You may even duplicate it to share with your friends, your bible study group, etc. throughout Advent.
Please answer the question in the purple box: “CAN WE COUNT ON YOU?” @ gnm.org/donate.

This week’s recommended WordByte:
“Be not afraid” to speak the truth
Are we supposed to stay silent about the truths of the Catholic Faith when we’re with those who have fallen prey to worldly thinking and the false teachings of Satan? They don’t want to hear the truth. They want us to believe that we should not speak the truth because it would hurt their feelings and make them mad, perhaps even violent….
Jesus tells us to “be not afraid” of speaking the truth. Even when there might be repercussions, we need not be afraid. If we have the attitude of, “Yes, I’m willing”, the Holy Spirit gives us the words and the supernatural, joyful peace that makes it easy. Fear gets overtaken by the Holy Spirit every time.

God bless you!
Every morning, I lift up in prayer everyone who helps Good News Ministries in any way (donors, volunteers, prayer supporters, etc.) and all the prayer requests posted on our site. What can I cover in prayer for you? Post your prayer request.
