Dear Jesus my Savior, Saint Melchior was one of the Magi who traveled far from home in order to find You in the newborn king. I place into Your protection all the journeys I will be making this year—the trips I have to take, the vacations I plan, the errands I run, and the most important journey of all, my spiritual walk. Saint Melchior, pray for my protection from accidents, getting lost, bad timing, unnecessary trips, and the pot-holes in the road to Heaven. I seek Your help, O God, in recognizing the guidance You send me, just as Saint Melchior followed the star of Bethlehem. Saint Melchior, pray for me. Amen.
