Inside the Ministry:
No reflection this Saturday, here’s why.
With apologies, there’s no reflection for this Saturday’s readings. It’s been a rough week for the GNM staff.
Please pray for the health of the staff of Good News Ministries and our families. Last weekend I suffered from food poisoning and couldn’t work on Monday. Monday night Graciela (the Assistant Director) suffered from an attack in her gall bladder. She couldn’t work on Tuesday. Then one of the daughters of Lily (our Social Media Manager) had food poisoning. And Kathy (our Office Assistant) has been doing her best with a bad cold. The timing is all too weird.
How important your prayers are to us!
Demons hate Good News Ministries. I don’t know what it is yet, but apparently something is going to happen that has upset them. You know, when a bunch of things go wrong, one after another after another, it’s a call to pray, persist and prepare.
For many weeks we’ve had one technical problem after another — at the same time my hours were reduced by illnesses hitting me and my family. I’ve had to do so much troubleshooting — without a day’s break — that there’s been no time to produce podcasts and videos. I’ve barely kept up with minimum daily responsibilities. I’ve spent way too much time filling in as webmaster. We cannot continue like this! I haven’t had time to do fundraising well enough, and so we fell far short of the goal. More help is needed for GNM to continue covering our necessary expenses.
Saint Benedict, pray for us!
Satan, drink your own poison — in Jesus’ mighty name, amen!
Here’s GOOD NEWS: Throughout it all, God has a purpose and it will serve his kingdom. This is a time of preparation. Thank you for your support.
This week’s recommended faith-builder:
Faith Booster Minis
Sometimes we only want a few words of encouragement. Just a short and sweet message from God. That’s why Good News Ministries has a big set of short, inspirational messages called Faith Booster Minis. They will give you a kiss of faith.
Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you and then click wordbytes.org/faith-booster-minis. The first one is “randomly” chosen for you. Scroll through the pages or refresh this page for another “randomly” selected mini message of faith.
God bless you!
Every morning, I lift up in prayer everyone who helps Good News Ministries in any way (donors, volunteers, prayer supporters, etc.) and all the prayer requests posted on our site. What can I cover in prayer for you? Post your prayer request.
How else can the team and I serve you today? Visit our homepage.
Let’s connect in GNM’s own SmartCatholics community, called Good News Faith Builders. I’m available to interact with you there.
Thank you for reading this newsletter.

For all of us who follow and love GNM, we know it has been more than just this week that the devil has been attacking. God must have something so wonderful, so powerful that He is planning. In the meantime so many people have benefited and now it’s our time to say thank you in an even bigger way through donations, if possible, and most definitely through prayers.
St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us and defend all those associated with GNM.
All for Jesus, all through Mary, all in imitation of thee, O Patriarch St. Joseph.
Jesus we trust in You.
I hope you all feel better soon. I will keep you all in prayer. We all know and trust that the Holy Spirit will prevail against all adversity and hopefully passing setbacks. May God’s will be done and God’s blessing come down on all in GNM.
Thank you, Ann, from all of us!
