Here’s where you can pray for your loved ones to be set free from evil.

Liberation through ChristWho in your life is away from the Church or away from Jesus completely? Who needs liberation from negative moods or spirits, addictions, bad habits, rebellion, or uncertainty about God’s will? Who needs help in finding the freedom that comes from following Christ?

Jesus gave his all for them, just as he did for you, even to the point of horrific sufferings, to make a difference in your soul and theirs. Jesus thanks you for agreeing to carry them by your love and your sacrifices to his healing love and the glory of Heaven. You can pray the following as sacrificial offerings to help free them from whatever is holding them back from coming fully alive in true faith and in God’s plans for them.

Before getting started, let the miraculous testimonies of others build your faith.

This video includes the prayer on this page and more.

1. Daily offering of sufferings and service (adapt this as best befits your circumstances)

In the name of Jesus Christ,
through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world,
in thanksgiving for Your goodness to me,
and in reparation for my sins,
I offer to You, Father God, all of my day today,
especially my pains and other sufferings,
the challenges and trials that I face,
my work, my service to others,
my resistance of temptations,
and my joys and blessings,
for the sake of ______________.
(Example: for the sake of [name here]’s conversion, or for the sake of [name here]’s prayer intentions.)

2. Rosary of Liberation (a prayer that began in Brazil and is spreading fast around the world due to its amazing effectiveness)

Apostle’s Creed:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He arose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. AMEN.

Single bead before each decade:
If the Lord sets ___________ free, ____________ will be free indeed.

4 prayers on each of the 10 beads:
Jesus, have mercy on ___________.
Jesus, heal ___________.
Jesus, save ___________.
Jesus, free ___________.

End:
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve! To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus! O loving, O clement, O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. AMEN.

  1. i have heard about the rosary of liberation and am wanting further clarification. i was told that the rosary is to be prayed for every intention you want broken. for example, disobedience, greed, etc. does one pray the whole rosary from the opening prayer to thanksgiving prayer for each intention, or does one pray the opening prayer, the apostles creed, claim the intention, pray the hail mary and end with the thanksgiving prayer? or can one start with the apostle’s creed, claim the intention, then pray the hail mary and go forth with each intention and after the last intention, then pray the thanksgiving prayer? please advise. thank you

    1. Excellent question, Mary. Primarily, pray the whole Rosary of Liberation for a specific person. You could (for example) state, “for the sake of Bob and his deliverance from disobedience and greed. Then just state his name throughout the rest of the prayer: “Jesus have mercy on Bob, Jesus heal Bob, etc.” In so doing, you’re covering everything. You could also do a novena of this rosary, covering a different sin or demonic trap each day.

    2. can you tell me how to pray a novena of the rosary of liberation? although i was baptized catholic and have all my sacraments, i have recently started learning about our prayers and traditions, therefore, i’m not familiar with lots of things. thank you
