Lord Jesus, when I endure trials for the sake of loving others, I am carrying Your Cross with You. What a privilege! What an honor! Amen.
The artist’s story: It’s Charity that inspired me choose this Station of the Cross. I believe it was God who chose Simon to carry the Cross for Jesus, rather than because of the Roman soldiers. Though reluctant at first, when he looked into Jesus’s eyes, I’m sure he saw Love and he was willing to carry the Cross all the way.
