April 11 – Saint Stanislaus of Cracow

Most Holy Redeemer, Saint Stanislaus of Cracow (c.1030-1079) dedicated himself to the formation of clergy, and he became popular as a spiritual adviser.  I ask him to intercede for the priests I know, including those in my parish, and to pray for clergy throughout the world.  Lord Jesus, motivate them to take time for friendships, retreats, spiritual direction, prayer and meditation with the saints, and pilgrimages that will enhance their relationships with You.  Heal their wounds and deliver them from their fears.  Help them reach their full potential as Your representatives here on Earth.  Fill them with zeal for their ministry.  Saint Stanislaus of Cracow, pray for us.  Amen.
