We exploded the goal for August!

Some people championed the works of Good News Ministries by donating $5. One couple gave $10,000. Most gave under $100. Together, all those who answered the call for the mid-year boost blew the $20,000 goal out of the water.

That’s right! Praise the Lord! We reached 147% of the goal.

This year, keeping Good News Ministries afloat involves ensuring that, not only can we keep the staff working, but also investing in succession planning. When my husband passed away last February, I was reminded of my own mortality. We have to secure GNM’s future to outlast me. This ministry is not about me. It’s about providing the Good News of Jesus Christ within the Catholic Faith.

I’ve actually been praying about this for a few years. Now God is providing an admin-trainee. Watch this newsletter for the exciting information about who he is and how he came to GNM several years ago.

The plan is to turn over to him some of the admin duties so that I can focus on producing more content while cutting down on my too-much-to-do task list. And he’ll help us move into the next level of video and podcast media, which is where the younger generations are best reached.

The donors who support this ministry are true champions of the Good News. Your sacrifices are what keep it all going.
