Paracletia - Find God in Times of Waiting - Course Description - Find God in Times of WaitingHow to find God in times of Waiting: Course Description

What are your waiting for? Life is one wait after another. We wait for prayers to get answered. We wait for people to change and make our lives easier or happier. We wait for the return of good health. We wait for a better job — or a job, period. We wait for the waiting to end.

Waitings are opportunities for your faith to grow stronger. In this 9-session video course, you will explore and discover how to recognize God’s mercy in every wait that you’re wondering about.

Each session is a short video reflection, which you can view on your own schedule. In January 2016, this was an interactive course. You will be able to read some of the correspondence between me and a few of the participants.

Now I’ve got one more question for you. Who else could benefit from this course? Forward this information to them. Share it on Facebook, etc.

Hi! I’m Terry Modica of Good News Ministries. I’d like to ask you a question. What are you waiting for? What prayers are you waiting to get answered? What frustration are you having that you wish would come to an end? What problems are you waiting to get the solutions for? If you share this with me, what I’d like to do is create a series of video reflections – an online retreat, so to speak – a course over the next several weeks using the struggles that you’re dealing with. When you log into the web page that’s now appearing on your screen and fill out the form telling me what it is that you’re waiting for, you’ll be signing up to be notified whenever a video reflection is posted that’s part of this series. Because I’m going to take everything that people say and that is going to become the topic of this course. You choose by what you say, what you need to hear, what you’re hoping to learn, so that your faith can grow. So that you can understand how God’s mercy is actually at work in your life in the very situations that you’re waiting for something to happen in. I look forward to hearing from you. God bless you.

Online Retreats

The “virtual retreats” of Good News Ministries are online prayer and reflection experiences that you can enjoy wherever you are. All of them offer healing, rest and restoration in the gentle arms of Christ. Some are interactive. Some are prayer-poems. Some are multi-media. Some are in Virtual Reality (and you don't need headgear to see it). Take time alone with the Lord: [go]
