Jesus is laid in the tomb

by Terry Modica of Good News Ministries
Art Medium: Photo Collage

Station 14

My Lord Jesus Christ, I want to begin a new life of becoming more fully the person God the Father created me to be. Your love has redeemed me. Amen.

The artist’s story: We all have times in our lives when we’re in a tomb, where something important in our lives has died and we’re waiting for our Father God to resurrect us into a new situation, a renewed life, and a restored joy. In my tombs of waiting, the Blessed Mother has joined me in my sorrows. She has wept over the losses that have interfered with Christ’s work, and her tears have comforted me, because I lean on her trust in the fact that with God there is always a resurrection. This was the inspiration behind making this collage of two of my photos.
