O Holy Spirit, Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen was a lawyer who loved to defend the poor. Eventually he became so disgusted by his colleagues’ greed, immorality, and uncaring attitudes that he left his practice for the priesthood and gave his wealth to needy seminarians and others. I ask him to intercede for the lawyers of my town and nation. Inspire them, Lord, to grow closer to You, to become advocates for the unjustly accused, and to work for Your Kingdom. Help my family and friends who are in court cases, and minister to them through their lawyers, ensuring fair treatment and victory. Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, pray for us. Amen.
