Sneak preview of new, powerful daily prayer videos

Coming soon: Daily Prayer and ReflectionDid you know that Pope Francis has earmarked 2024 as an official Year of Prayer to prepare us for the Jubilee Year of 2025? With a theme of hope?

The Year of Prayer is “a year dedicated to rediscovering the great value and absolute need for prayer in one’s personal life, in the life of the Church, and in the world.”

He added, “I ask you to intensify your prayer to prepare us to live this event of grace well and to experience the power of God’s hope.”

The year 2025 will be a Jubilee Year of Hope, the first ordinary jubilee since the Great Jubilee of 2000.

Therefore, the Good News Ministries team and I are working on a new project to help make it easy for you to increase your prayer life and, through it, experience more hope.

For many years, we’ve provided a downloadable podcast version of the daily Good News Reflections. Soon we will start a daily video called “Powerful Daily Prayer and Reflection.” It will include the Angelus, prayers to Mary and Joseph, the prayer for protection from Saint Michael the Archangel, intercessory prayers, and more — a powerful way to start your day.

The Good News Reflection will be incorporated into the middle of it.

As you probably know, my daily reflections are well-known for bringing hope to subscribers, and there’s nothing more powerful than prayer to increase hope. The new video series will begin next week. Meanwhile, here’s a sneak peak! It’s the prayers part minus the reflection.

To Pray As Mary Prayed

What’s the most powerful way we can pray? Mary the Mother of God set the example. Because this Saturday is the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I think now is the perfect time to watch my video on what the bible shows us about how Mary prayed. She’s our best example of how to truly pray in a way that makes a difference, in a way that connects immediately to God, in a way that makes miracles happen.

But there are no Bible stories that show Mary praying, right? Wrong! Can you name one? Watch this short video (just 4 and a half life-changing minutes): gnm-media.org/pray-as-mary-prayed
