Do you know what the greatest, most powerful prayer that you can pray is — for even hardened sinners?

Who do you know who is away from the faith? Who makes you wonder if they’re even going to heaven? Who is somebody that needs some extra mercy from the Lord? In today’s world, we’re confronted all the time now with people who are very much against us. We are living in a very divided world where the two sides don’t know how to say kind words to each other. We need God’s mercy to intervene in our world!

This is why we at Good News Ministries are providing The Great Mercy Challenge. Join us. Download our diary of Divine Mercy prayers below.

How to do The Great Mercy Challenge

1. Enthrone a crucifix or a statue of the Blessed Mother (Mother of Divine Mercy) or a picture of Divine Mercy. Set it up as a shrine or featured space in your home.

2. Whom do you know who is an unbeliever? Who is in unrepentant sin? Who is dying? Who else needs the Divine Mercy of Jesus? Print this booklet and write in their names: one person for each day. It’s okay if you leave some dates blank for now and fill in the information as the Holy Spirit brings more people to mind. It’s also okay if you pray for the same person more than once.

3. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for these people on the dates you’ve chosen for them.

4. On Divine Mercy Sunday (or anytime afterward) refer to this list to glorify Jesus for any differences your prayers have made.

How to Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet

Begin with St. Faustina’s Prayer for Sinners:
O Jesus, eternal Truth, our Life, I call upon You and I beg Your mercy for poor sinners. O sweetest Heart of my Lord, full of pity and unfathomable mercy, I plead with You for poor sinners. O Most Sacred Heart, Fount of Mercy from which gush forth rays of inconceivable graces upon the entire human race, I beg of You light for poor sinners. O Jesus, be mindful of Your own bitter Passion and do not permit the loss of souls redeemed at so dear a price of Your most precious Blood. O Jesus, when I consider the great price of Your Blood, I rejoice at its immensity, for one drop alone would have been enough for the salvation of all sinners. Although sin is an abyss of wickedness and ingratitude, the price paid for us can never be equalled. Therefore, let every soul trust in the Passion of the Lord, and place its hope in His mercy. God will not deny His mercy to anyone. Heaven and earth may change, but God’s mercy will never be exhausted. Oh, what immense joy burns in my heart when I contemplate Your incomprehensible goodness, O Jesus! I desire to bring all sinners to Your feet that they may glorify Your mercy throughout endless ages.

On the first rosary bead:
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You! (3x)

On the next 3 beads:
Our Father …
Hail Mary ….
The Apostles’ Creed

On the next single bead:
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the 10 beads of each decade:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

On the single bead between decades:
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

After the 5th decade, conclude with:
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (3x)

Closing Prayer:
Eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
