Prayer is so important to our daily lives. To pray continually as the Lord commands and give thanks gives us peace hope and charity. When I pray I feel peace and hope in my life and charity.

I like to share some good news with everyone that my son Chris has recovered from Covid. Chris found out he had Covid last Monday he took a self-test which was positive. Then he contacted his health care provider at Kaiser and the doctor prescribed a medicine for Covid called Paxlovid. He took it for a few days by Saturday he tested negative. He has recovered from Covid and could return back to work next Wednesday. I prayed for him every day and sent prayer request to Lourdes prayer online and asked my friends to pray for him. Prayer truly works. I also prayed for Chris through my hourly devotion on Sunday through Good News Ministeries. Praise the Lord for the blessings.

To keep our faith and diligence in doing the Lords works as the Lord has commanded is so important to the very end. Diligence pushes me forward to develop my spiritual growth and faith in the Lord. For out of diligence good things happen and we could be the warrior to bring someone to Christ through the spread of the gospel. Or we could invite someone to church or spread the Gospel and the many blessings and conversions to Christ it brings through Good News Ministries.
I enjoy meditation. A time to reflect on my past and seek guidance on moving forward in the future. One of the best times to do this for me is my time with Good News Ministries on Sunday. I pray the rosary and pray for family and myself and for prayer request from Terry Modica and Good News Ministeries. I also read the Bible scriptures. I look forward to this every Sunday. This mediation for me is a lamp for my feet and light on my path as I am referring to the Bible scripture as shown here.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
When I thought about how to come to a decision on what major in college I should pursue now, I thought of Romans 8:26-29. That if you pursue the Lord in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
I am going through some difficult times now financially. My electricity went out in my bedroom and the garage where I have my refrigerator and freezer. I have a makeshift fix now which is not a permanent solution.
I will keep Romans 5:3–5 in my mind daily that perseverance builds character, hope through God’s love and the Holy Spirit.

I see this verse play out in my daily life. Things that come from your heart; that are from the spirit of the Lord are the catalyst for driving us to success in life. As this bible verse states we should guard heart for everything flows from it.
1 John 3:22 – And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
I pray for the healing of Terry Modica and that GNM finds a bilingual Spanish webmaster soon. I also pray for all GNM team members to keep up the spiritual growth we obtain through GNM and for their good health and success.
I pray for the healing of Terry and Ralph Modica. Also, I pray for the protections and spiritual growth and health of everyone in Good News Ministeries. May we worship, pray, and minister to others and have faith, hope, and charity as we encounter each day.

THERE IS VICTORY IN PRAYER. This week a friend, Teresa called me from Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco and stated she was in the ER. Teresa said she was diagnosed by her doctor to have Covid 19 and kidney stones. Teresa told me she was in extreme pain and did not know whether she would make it. I told her I would pray for her and send a prayer request to the priest and sent a prayer request to a special prayer request site. I prayed daily for her. Yesterday Teresa called me and said the doctor said she is free from Covid, she is getting discharged from the hospital. She thanked me for my concern and prayers. The Lord works miracles! There is victory in prayer. Jesus works miracles. Continue to keep faith, love, charity, hope and prayer daily in your life as we minister together.

Mark 14:3:9 “And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.” The woman did a wonderful thing, she showed her love for Jesus. May we continue to all show our love for Jesus and love for one another always.
