The Measuring Stick for Discernment

Question for private reflection:
In doing an examination of conscience, is the Holy Spirit convicting you of a belief you’ve held onto that is not in agreement with Scripture and with Church teaching? If you’re not sure, then where can you go to learn the truth? There are many resources; the Catechism of the Catholic Church can be searched online.

Note: the Holy Spirit does not convict us with a spirit of shame, but humility and a desire to purge ourselves of everything that is not holy.
