About Good News Ministries of Tampa Bay

What is Good News Ministries?

Our Mission:

To re-energize the Catholic Church around the world by developing professional resources that inspire people to come alive in greater love, greater joy, and greater power for daily life through the Catholic Faith. A ministry of the New Evangelization, we empower people to attract others to Christ.

Founded in 1995 by Terry and Ralph Modica in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida, our staff of 5 and volunteer team of 60+ serve from across the US and around the world. The Executive Director Terry Modica is an international speaker and author.

The Problem We Solve:

Many Catholics are unaware of God’s call to participate in the work of evangelization. Some are aware but wish they knew how to go about this work.

Scripture and the experiences of the Church from the very beginning tell us that it is the Holy Spirit who enlivens people to become evangelizers.

Therefore, we inspire Catholics to become fully alive as Christians, through the Holy Spirit. First we help them to discover how passionately Jesus cares about them. Then we teach them to share their faith by using the gifts and talents and experiences and skills they already have.

Join with us in being empowered by the Holy Spirit to renew the face of the earth!

Your talents can make a difference: Join the Team!
